A voyage of temptation and obstacles, "The Odyssey" interweaves the world of fantasy and reality, the past and the present, divine and mortal to create a shifting realm through which the hero must pass before reclaiming his home.This solo performance draws threads from East and West bringing the world of mythology to life through the ancient forms of mask, dance, puppetry and music.In a melée of movement and animation, concepts and rythms from classical Indian "natya" are combined with Western improvisation techniques to create a unique physical and visual performance language.
